I'll simply rebuild all affected packages today, which will resolve the initial breakage. Then I work on actually getting upower 0.99 properly supported in MATE.

mate-session-manager 1.8.1-2 has been pushed to the [community] repository. This build disables upower completely.

mate-power-manager 1.8.0-2 has been pushed to the [community] repository. It adds patches to (hopefully) support upower 0.99.

mate-applets 1.8.0-3 has been pushed to the [community] repository. It has been rebuilt against upower 0.99, no patching required since it is upower 1.0 ready.
