DetailsDescription:
Since /run is a tmpfs /run/smokeping doesnt survive a reboot and smokeping fail miserably with: ERROR: /etc/smokeping/config, line 13: Directory '/run/smokeping/' does not exist Please add something like this somewhere (and ensure correct ownership): [ ! -d /run/smokeping ] && mkdir /run/smokeping Additional info: * package version(s) 2.6.9-2 * config and/or log files etc. piddir = /run/smokeping/ Steps to reproduce: Just use common sense when configuring smokeping, then reboot, then post a bug report here. BTW, in this state, this package should have stayed in AUR. Spray the love, Bob |
This task depends upon
/run is a tmpfs by default on arch (and on several other distro btw).
kthxbye
In fact I dont know what is the purpose of piddir as at startup it just checks if the directory is there and write nothing in it.
Requesting closure.
