Description: After upgrading nvidia driver to version 337.12, I cannot use gedit anymore. Keyboard strikes were horribly slow to show on screen. I had to wait nearly 2 seconds between key stroke and modification on screen.

Gnome shell was slower too.

Downgrading to nvidia 334.21 fixes the bug.

Steps to reproduce:
1) Upgrade to nvidia 337.12
2) Reboot
3) Launch gedit. And try to enter a text. See how much time it takes.

This bug seems to related to Gnome not repainting properly.

No more lags in Gedit or in Gnome. Could be closed as fixed.
