Details

At this point in time the 2014.04.01 ArchISO boots fine in Gen1 VMs on Hyper-V which uses classic BIOS emulation.

But in Gen2 all features except for the keyboard works in that mode. Which simulates an UEFI PC.

Ubuntu's latest LiveCD appears to work with the hyper-V keyboard in Gen2.

In Arch it seems the serio/hyperv_keyboard.ko exists but doesn't get loaded or works properly.
