Description:
Wicd currently has dependencies for dhcpcd and ethtool, which appear only as alternatives in the config of the application. I belive it should depend on dhcp-client, and some alternative virtual package providing link detection, or just make ethtool an optdep for what it matters. Steps to reproduce: Look at current dependencies $ pacman -Si wicd |

ping angvp...
I'd like to add a practical reason for this change. Running wicd
with dhclient immediately solves the "dhcpcd not running" issue
(see
https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=175554); without recompiling the packages I have to keep both dhcpcd
and dhclient in the system.
Please some dev adopt wicd + wicd-gtk or drop it to community/AUR.
