DetailsDescription:
I've tested both, the one in extra (1.7.0-2), and the one in testing (1.7.1-1), and both fail the same way. The problem is that the windows 8 guest, using "-vga std" is unable to select any screen resolution, and uses only 1024x768. I didn't see any bug report on qemu, but rather found someone reported this on debian, and they fixed it on 1.7.0, though the fix still persists on 1.7.1: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=685097 I'm not sure if this is really a upstream bug or not, given I didn't notice this bug getting reflected in quemu's bug tracking system. Though I'm inclined to think it is... But I guess the developers know better. Additional info: * package version(s) 1.7.0-2 1.7.1-1 * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: Just run windows 8 as a guest, with "-vga std". |
