Hi, qt mantainer.
I have many crashes in krusader application during some file operations (copy/move etc.), the explanation is that
Qt 3.3.5 introduced a serious bug which is now causing random crashes in many KDE applications including Konqueror, Krusader.
Read this link http://krusader.sourceforge.net/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=1407&highlight=crash.
The problems are been solved in qt-x11-free 3.3.5-2
* Fix a new-for-3.3.5 QListView problem that was causing myriad random crashes in KDE apps. (Closes: #338002).
Please update the package. Thx

Reason for closing:  Won't implement
Additional comments about closing:  fixed in testing, testing package will become current as soon as xorg7 wanders down to current

in testing qt this is already fixed

it is not as i can see from extra's PKGBUILD, it does not seem to implement the patch mentioned here (http://lists.trolltech.com/qt-interest/2005-11/thread00128-0.html), testing has it though. :/

@rsync:
i would like to urge you to use the catergory field or tell us which version you mean by prefixing the package name by the repository. thank you. :)

Iam sorry next bugtrack i will be more careful. :)

@tpowa
Yes, the QListView patch is in qt 3.3.5-8 pkg in testing, but i do not want to install other packages ""xextproto-7.0.2-1 libxext-1.0.0-1 libxmu-1.0.0-1 xf86vidmodeproto-2.2.2-1 libxxf86vm-1.0.0-1 libdrm-2.0-1 libgl-dri-6.4.1-1 glproto-1.4.3-1 mesa-6.4.1-2 libxft-2.1.8.2-1"". You can make a minor update for qt in extra package. Thx

@rsync
you will have to deal with some of them when xorg 7.0 modular wanders down to current anyway. unless you run 6.9 with still is a monotlithic piece. don't expect it to be updated in the future though as the monolithic has been deprecated. it's only a matter of days now for xorg 7.0 to become current, so it might be a wise idea and bite into the apple and upgrade to testing. ;)
