i'm using trac based on mod_python, after a recent update the httpd daemon just accumulates memory, uses 100% cpu time and finally segfaults whenever i want to access the repository.

the error log shows nothing.

i know that this is very unspecific, i'm hoping that someone else can verify this. i have no idea where this might be coming from. i updated trac and mod_python, but no luck.

google doesnt give me any help on it either.

i managed to reproduce the blowup with trac-admin and setting up a new repository. using gdb, i found out that this problem came from using an outdated version of pysqlite. i upgraded pysqlite to 2.+ and the problem was gone.

i'm linking to this ticket from the AUR where an old version of trac is available.
