Details

Description: Lenovo L430 can't boot kernel after upgrade to version 3.13.7-1. Screen stays black and system doesn't boot.


Additional info:
- Lenovo L430 N2L3RGE 24683RG
- linux 3.13.7-1 with EFI boot from seperate partition
- all filesystems on SanDisk SDSSDP064G (SSD)

Steps to reproduce: Upgrade from 3.13.6-1 to 3.13.7-1 an reboot.

It's likely a duplicate. I've run into this issue on a T530 which has similar hardware. A confirmation that this occurs via an efistub-based bootloader like gummiboot but not via grub is what's required to know.
