FS#3957 - udevstart Missing after Upgrade to udev 084
|
DetailsThe udevstart command disappeared off my system after upgrading to the latest kernel and udev 084.
I have udevstart on my other non-arch boxes that use udev 084. There are some packages in arch that relay on the udevstart command. (e.g. When a new driver is installed, one typically calls udevstart to refresh the /dev nodes). It absence will cause some breakage. It looks like udevstart was inadvertently forgotten when udev 084 was packaged. Fix -- Repackage udev to include the udevstart command. Rob |
