Description:
Java 8 was released yesterday. An in-tree package would help managing Java deps for end-users :)

Steps to reproduce:
1) pacman -Ss jdk8

Reason for closing:  Not a bug
Additional comments about closing:  We use IcedTea releases, there is no jdk8 yet. Out of date packages are not a bug anyway.

Not an out-of-date issue, jdk7 is a separate package (7 is part of the package name).

You are correct about the IcedTea releases, though, I checked here (jdk8 is listed): http://icedtea.wildebeest.org/download/fedora/
Now I notice that's for Fedora, not a source release.
