Reason for closing: Not a bug
Additional comments about closing: We use IcedTea releases, there is no jdk8 yet. Out of date packages are not a bug anyway.

You are correct about the IcedTea releases, though, I checked here (jdk8 is listed): http://icedtea.wildebeest.org/download/fedora/
Now I notice that's for Fedora, not a source release.
