I'm unable to reproduce it on my Intel card. Are you using any integration plugin like libreoffice-kde?
Comment by mpan (mpan) - Sunday, 16 March 2014, 07:37 GMT
nVidia card here, with nvidia-334.21 driver. I use libreoffice-gnome-4.2.2, but the problem persists even after uninstalling it.

Example file that exhibits the behaviour: <http://mpan.pl/pub/archreport-39474-sample.ods>
Just try to scroll up and down. You may also want to press and hold down or up key for a moment.

Reproduced it now, thanks for the sample. I'll take a look at upstream bug tracker and report it later today.

I don't have this bug,

I tried the sample file, no lags when I use the mouse or the arrow keys,

I have a radeon HD4650 with radeon driver ( open source driver ), and I use libreoffice 4.2.2-2 version package

Me too same problem. 4.1.5 is fine
The problem appears immediately if I select all the cells and change font. Then the libre calc becomes impossible to use

Please check 4.2.4-0.1 in testing. If it hasn't been solved until now someone affected should report it upstream.

@Andreas: Can you upload libreoffice-fr 4.2.4 package in testing please ?

only the US version is available in testing

The pkg works well with older 4.2.3 langpacks here. 4.2.4 should stay in testing until the final release. I don't intend to upload RC langpacks
if not essentially needed.

The performance seems marginally better and rendering artifacts are not so visible. But it's still very slow.
