I just updated to version 4.2.2-1 of LibreOffice and all applications do not come to the front when started. They are not minimized but are behind the current application.

To check: work with a non-maximized application and start LibreOffice Writer. Watch it start behind the current application.

This issue reported on KDE, I can't check with other Desktop Environments.

Disable KDE - integration and use generic or gnome desktop integration for testing.

Indeed, it happens only when kde4 integration is installed.

Could you report your issue upstream then?
Comment by Andreas Radke (AndyRTR) - Sunday, 20 April 2014, 14:29 GMT
Please check 4.2.4-0.1 in testing. It should have all required kde4 integration fixes.

If the problem persists please file an upstream issue.
