DetailsDescription:
I followed the Arch Wiki page on Network Configuration[1], and setup my system to use networkd to obtain an IP address via DHCP. Here are the contents of 20-dhcp.network --- [Match] Name=* [Network] DHCP=yes --- It seems like my router was not updated of my system's hostname, leading me to believe networkd isn't sending it. If I instead use dhcpcd (with `systemctl enable dhcpcd@enp0s10.service`), my router does get updated. I can't find any information on how to enable/disable sending the hostname when using networkd. [1]https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Network_configuration#systemd-networkd Additional info: * package version(s) systemd 210-3 * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: Install Arch Linux Set a hostname Enable and start DHCP via networkd Check whichever DHCP server you're using for a hostname |
