DetailsI should have filed several bugs, since different export methods are involved, but my patience is running short today... pardon me!
Trying with text written in default "sans" font. a) Cairo export: - PNG produces completely unreadable text - PDF, PS, SVG produce some botched text (notice the table header which should read "Table") b) EPS/Pango export produces aliased text. The only decent way I found to export a good PDF from Dia is: 1. export as "EPS/PS Latin-1 fonts"; 2. convert to PDF via either - epspdf from 'texlive-pictures', or - epstopdf from 'texlive-core' Additional info: * package version(s): 0.97.2-5 Steps to reproduce: 1. open the attached file "Diagram1.dia"; 2. export with Cairo/EPS filters. |

Diagram1.dia
Diagram1.png
1) Export diagram to svg (not cairo)
2) Open svg file in inkscape and export the file to png
we should understand if it's an upstream problem or only our bug
but not for ps and eps
Moreover gimp imports attached ps and eps and shows readable text.
Could you please recheck it?
