Avrdude cannot upload ELF binaries to microcontrollers as support is not compiled in. Add elfutils to depencies (needs to be installed when compiling and running) and support will be included. Additional info: * package version(s) avrdude 6.0.1-3 and 6.0.1-1 Avrdude 5.11.1-4 had it compiled in, but did not depend on elfutils, so it just happened to be installed? Steps to reproduce: Connect programmer with microcontoller, try uploading ELF binary. Detected as ELF but cannot upload as support is not compiled in. Or just run ldd against avrdude and look for libelf.so. |
