Details

Description: fish does not depend on any python version. python should be optional and fish is compatible with python3. Also fish depends explicitely on bc.

In the meanwhile I asked for an official statement on the fish mailing list, and the readme now states the dependencies.

Turns out, ncurses is only a build dep.

I'm not subscribed to fish-users mailing list, so feel free to repost it there: fish explicitly links to ncurses and gcc-libs (see readelf -d output) and as shown by  FS#35458 , it also needs hostname fro inetutils package. I've added bc to depends array and moved python to optdeps. Closing.
