Description:

On some machines Wicd refuses to autoconnect on resume from hibernation/suspend. On my machine this is often related to connecting to Eduroam networks.

However, I found a solution with using the systemd sleep hook.

I created the following script which reactivates autoconnect on resume:

/usr/lib/systemd/system-sleep/wicd-restart

#!/bin/sh

/usr/share/wicd/daemon/suspend.py
/usr/share/wicd/daemon/autoconnect.py

Is it and idea to ship this script with the Wicd package?
