On some machines Wicd refuses to autoconnect on resume from hibernation/suspend. On my machine this is often related to connecting to Eduroam networks. However, I found a solution with using the systemd sleep hook. I created the following script which reactivates autoconnect on resume: /usr/lib/systemd/system-sleep/wicd-restart #!/bin/sh /usr/share/wicd/daemon/suspend.py /usr/share/wicd/daemon/autoconnect.py Is it and idea to ship this script with the Wicd package? |
