DetailsSince version 2.1 hostap/wpa_supplicant introduced a strict checking of server certificates. This turned out to break quite a lot of networks using WPA Enterprise (EAP). See [1] for a discussion. The offending commit has since been reverted in upstream git [2]. Attached is the error which I got trying to authenticate with out secure network. Of course, reverting to v2.0 "fixes" the issue.
Please either build from the latest git master, or at least cherry-pick patch [2]. Thanks, L. [1] http://patchwork.ozlabs.org/patch/320617 [2] http://hostap.epitest.fi/cgit/hostap/commit/?id=b62d5b5450101676a0c05691b4bcd94e11426397 |
