Same error here with "local installation media" and various OS profiles.

Do you have qemu 1.7.0-2 and usbredir 0.6-4?

Is this fixed for you by virt-manager-1.0.1-1? I just pushed it to community.

Works for me with virt-manager-1.0.1.

Note that I have virt-manager-1.0.0 on Fedora 20 and that version works fine there. Was this simply a mismatch between eg QEMU and virt on Arch?

I don't follow QEMU or virt-manager development, so I'm not quite sure. It does seem that the breakage was due to the QEMU update, and 1.0.1 includes a fix (or more than one) to cope with it.
