DetailsDescription:
For some reasons specifically on Arch systems, on every connection the dhcpcd package throws out some weird errors similar to this: Feb 18 16:19:24 thinkpad dhcpcd[12549]: wls1: ipv6nd_sendrsprobe: sendmsg: Cannot assign requested address There is a patch available which fixes this: http://roy.marples.name/projects/dhcpcd/ci/12934660bc?sbs=0 Can the dhcpcd in the repos be patched with it? Additional info: * package version(s) * config and/or log files etc. dhcpcd 6.2.1-1 Steps to reproduce: 1. Establish a connection using wicd 2. Check the journal for the error output |
This task depends upon
I switched to dhclient and cannot longer test dhcpcd.
Since I seem to be the only user who has been affected in the past, I suggest to simply close the bug report without further testing?
