Description:

Running a large number of instances here, I want some stable ip addresses for some of them.
The libvirt way seems to be to edit /etc/libvirt/qemu/network/default.xml - that works fine.

Unfortunately, that just got killed (and I think I stumbled upon that problem in past updates and just wondered what the hell happened) by the latest libvirt update.

Additional info:
Currently I'm on libvirt 1.2.1-3

Steps to reproduce:

Edit that (configuration!) file, update the package, lose your changes and fail to connect to your machines.

Please protect that file and don't overwrite it - or only overwrite it, if there are no changes (if that's possible).
