DetailsWhenever I run acroread I get an error dialog saying: "There was an error while loading the plug-in "PPKLite.api". The plug-in failed to initialize."
Apparently this happens when OpenLDAP is not installed. Obviously you could depend on openldap but I think that's a bad idea because I would imagine 99% of people who use acroread have no use for it. You could also delete the plugin but there might be some people who use it. You seem to be able to "disable" the plugin by removing the executable bit which, possibly along with a message during installation about how to enable it, is probably a better idea than removing it completely. |
