Description:

A while ago I reported a critical problem with drracket (racket language IDE).
The appplication crashes with the following error once the preferences menu
is opened

SIGSEGV MAPERR si_code 1 fault on addr 0x3e00

I discovered that the problem is not with drracket itself but with
the kde/gtk integration layer. If the oxygen-gtk2 package is installed
and the oxygen-gtk theme is selected inside the "Gtk styles and fonts" system
settings panel, the program crashes.
Once the theme is deselected the application works.
I chose to uninstall oxygen-gtk2. This is a minor annoyance but gtk applications
such as firefox look ugly under kde.

BTW. maybe that other problems with other apps are triggered by oxygen-gtk.
I reported crashes with Libreoffice that were recognized as related to the
UI integration layer.

Thanks

Did you report it?

.... ?
Sorry, I have not.
I don't know where to report it and I have not so much time to find out who and how ..
I am happy with the workaround I have found. I installed gtk themes and gtk-chtheme.
