there is also a stale lock file in /tmp that has to be removed in order to make it work.

Comment by Leonard Ritter (paniq) - Sunday, 26 March 2006, 19:50 GMT
yes, i just fixed it after months of not being able to use it. actually i think it requires one fix script, then it should be gone for anyone.

/tmp is cleaned on every reboot so why this is a problem?
Comment by Leonard Ritter (paniq) - Monday, 27 March 2006, 17:24 GMT
what is a reboot? ;)
Comment by Tobias Powalowski (tpowa) - Monday, 27 March 2006, 17:28 GMT
ah you don't upgrade on each kernel release ;)
Comment by Leonard Ritter (paniq) - Monday, 27 March 2006, 17:58 GMT
well.. ;)

i dont think the /tmp thing is the actual issue but more the uid/gid thing.
Comment by Tobias Powalowski (tpowa) - Monday, 27 March 2006, 18:00 GMT
uid and gid have been changed since 2.0.1, so i think this bug can be closed
Comment by Leonard Ritter (paniq) - Monday, 27 March 2006, 19:22 GMT
