My webapp crashes on tomcat8 when trying to connect to the
database connection pool with:
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.apache.tomcat.dbcp.dbcp2.BasicDataSourceFactory The complete package org.apache.tomcat.dbcp.dbcp2 is indeed missing from /usr/share/tomcat8/tomcat-dbcp.jar. It does exist in the tomcat-dbcp.jar in the offical binary package, so this is not an upstream issue. Also, the service file references syslog.target in After=, which should be removed. syslog.target has been obsolete for a long time. |
