I've just installed geeqie today for the first time, using pacman. It doesn't work (doesn't start at all). Command line says a library is missing:

$ geeqie
geeqie: error while loading shared libraries: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Creating a symlink /usr/lib/ pointing to /usr/lib/ (already installed on my system) apparently solved the problem.

Additional info:
* package version(s)

* config and/or log files etc.

Steps to reproduce:
See above.

Updating your system (which you should always do before installing anything) would also solve it
