Description: Audacious pkg > 3.4.1 not offering ossv4
output option
Initially presumed this was due to recent kernels that didn't play nicely with ossv4, as ossv4 pkg was subsequently removed from community/extra to AUR and folks started needing to use oss-nonfree to get working ossv4. Other apps, e.g. Flash, continued to work fine but Audacious no longer provided oss output option under "File>Preferences>Output Plugin". Some weeks went by and as of yesterday I find that oss-4.2_2008-3 (as distinguished from oss-nonfree) from AUR now works, but still not with Audacious. Audacious x86_64 pkg versions not offering ossv4 output option (paired with respective audacious-plugins): 3.4.3-1 3.4.2-1 Works: audacious-3.4.1-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz audacious-plugins-3.4-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz And earlier. I didn't test all priors but, you get the idea: 3.4.2 seems to be where Audacious stopped "allowing" selecion of oss output plugin. I have not attempted to build from source to test whether this may just be some config file tweak. |

Sorry I couldn't tell you this straight away --- I forgot I removed OSS support until I digged that commit up. :)
