Description:
Pidgin 2.10.8 does not depend on python2 anymore.
(see: https://developer.pidgin.im/wiki/ChangeLog?version=99)
However, the PKGBUILD changes the shebang lines from python to python2.
A suggested patch is attached.

The purple-remote and purple-url-handler scripts (installed to /usr/bin as part of libpurple) are not Python 3 compatible.

I'll have another look at this tomorrow, but I might just keep it using Python 2 for now.
