After today's system update, I cannot use "-misc-fixed-*-*-*-*-10-*-*-*-*-*-*-*" as font for xmobar any longer:

> xmobar -f "-misc-fixed-*-*-*-*-10-*-*-*-*-*-*-*"
xmobar: user error (createFontSet)

Fortunately, "-misc-fixed-*-*-*-*-13-*-*-*-*-*-*-*" is kept installed.
I can also use any xft-font.
So I was wondering if the new fonts-misc package won't ship the fonts for size '10pt' any longer,
or if something got corrupt during update.

I am using xmobar-0.19-1 since 10 Nov 2013, hence I'm scapegoating the system update.

Reason for closing:  Fixed
Additional comments about closing:  Reporter requests closure:

"After todays system update, this font starts to work again. I think that some font-cache was possibly not filled completely during the last update. Hence the look-up of misc-fixed-10 failed although the font is installed. "

No haskell related packages have been updated since 2 December, so I can't really see how eiter XMobar or any related haskell package could be blamed

I'm not blaming xmobar or any haskell package.
It just happened that I'm using the misc-fixed 10pt font with xmobar.
It is most likely a problem with the system update involving any list/cache generated of X11 fonts.
