I would like to provide a new German archlinux mirror.
It has already been tested and is working properly.
Syncing everything except archive, other and sources every hour at xx:21

Geographical location of the mirror (country): Frankfurt (Germany)
Supported access methods: http (ipv4 and ipv6)

Mirror is currently down since we're migrating to a new, faster server

Can you rename the URL to:
http://k42.ch/mirror/archlinux
and the mirror now also supports https under:
https://k42.ch/mirror/archlinux

A couple of notes:

- http://mirror.k42.ch/archlinux is returning "500 Internal Server Error" -- please correct this if possible
- http:// redirects to https:// -- since each request is autonomous and based on what's defined in pacman's mirrorlist, there's no benefit in doing this for a mirror

I've changed the URLs, but please try to make the old URL work again so people can continue to update.

Since you redirect http to https, should we really list the http URL or should we simply list https? pacman will hit the redirect for every request if the users puts in http which adds extra round trips and provides no additional security.

I made the old URL working again.
I also disabled the automatic redirect for k42.ch/mirror
