DetailsDescription: The new Steam game streaming requires /dev/uinput to be rw for the Steam process. Package should contain a udev rule to set this or a message on install warning user to set it.

Reason for closing: Won't implement
Additional comments about closing: The suggested workaround here is insecure, and should not even be recommended by an install script. It allows all users to read/write input events, even if their session is not active.
Valve needs to use the usual API or provide a *sane* workaround to fix this. Currently, it's strictly a feature that this does not work because it indicates secure permissions are in place.

I don't think doing this would be a good idea as it breaks the security model. It seems that this is a Steam bug because it can definitely be done without this.
