DetailsDescription:
/usr/lib/systemd/system/unrealircd.service specifies: PIDFile=/var/run/unrealircd.pid As the PID file location but the unreal init script located at /etc/unrealircd/unreal specifies the pid file as: PID_FILE="/etc/unrealircd/ircd.pid" When running systemctl start unrealircd the ircd will start up with the PID file listed in the init script but systemd will look for the PID file in /var/run/unrealircd.pid and not find it causing systemd to hang for a while then kill the ircd. Additional info: unrealircd 3.2.10.2-1 Steps to reproduce: 1. Install unrealircd 2. configure unrealircd.conf as required 3. try to start it with systemctl start unrealircd |
