DetailsDescription:
I upgraded libgcrypt 1.6.0-1 after an application failed to load. Afterwards installing any package gave me the following error: error: GPGME error: Invalid crypto engine When running pacman to install further packages it was unable to install any package as gpgme was compiled against the old libgcrypt which no longer existed. This rendered everything unusable as pacman was not able to check any keys to rectify the issue. I resolved this by manually downgrading libgcrypt. |
