Would be possible to ship docs? This should be easy as building from the -fulldocs package instead of the current one.

Hi Andrea!
I see the "-fulldocs" tarball you are referring to [0] but it only contains html files, no source.
Package tomcat7 already ships "docs" and "examples" as webapps.
I checked the difference between the docs provided and the one you are referring to. "fulldocs" seems to add the Tomcat API doc (could be generated in our package with the "javadoc" ant target).
These are mostly for "Tomcat developer" and would add about 60Mo uncompressed of html that are available online [1].

So I am a bit reluctant to add these. What do you think?

Ouch stupid me.
I opened /var/lib/tomcat7/webapps/docs/api/index.html and after I read it I stopped to look for anything else and filled this bug.

webapps/docs is what I was looking for. thanks!
