Details

Ftp install selects only one ethernet interface. Noticed in 0.7.1 base .iso. I have IEEE 1394 device as eth0 and FastEthernet as eth1, but only eth0 is visible so I loose all posibilities to connect to internet. 0.7 install cd discovered my right - FastEthernet interface.

I had the same problem when installing from FTP.
I have two ethernet interfaces. eth0 is connected to LAN and eth1 is connected to my ISP.
I cannot just plug the Internet-connected cable to eth0 because my ISP uses MAC to IP binding and to swith interface which is connected to Internet I must call to my ISP admins (and my ISP main office is in another city!).
I fixed this by reverse switching my cables and after setting up networking (using Arch setup interface) switching cables back to normal state.
Arch installer should ask user which interface he/she wants to use! This is VERY important is situations like this.
