Details

The current PAM file doesn't reuse the common system-login configuration from pambase, therefore lacks some features (e.g. log in with a passwordless user[1]). I attached a PAM file that already used in LightDM, LXDM and SLiM, and includes optional support also for GNOME Keyring. I tested it with XDM, and it works well.

Please replace the PAM file with the attached one.


[1] Passwordless login is officially supported by XDM, and can be enabled by adding the line 'login*allowNullPasswd: true' into the file /etc/X11/xdm/Xresources (but PAM file needs to be fixed to work).
