DetailsDescription:
When started in a KDE environment, all text labels (buttons, menus, dialogs, ...) display a non-antialiased font. This cannot be fixed by any of jedit's own options, but by using one of the JVMs options (cf. proposed fix below). Additional info: * Package version: jedit-5.1.0-2 * Java JRE: jre7-openjdk 7.u45_2.4.3-1 * Desktop Environment: KDE 4.11, 4.12 Steps to reproduce: Launch jedit by either /usr/bin/jedit or /usr/bin/jeditbg or /usr/share/applications/jedit.desktop Proposed Fix: --- jedit.orig 2014-01-04 10:15:55.915136467 +0100 +++ jedit 2014-01-04 10:15:39.729010743 +0100 @@ -13,4 +13,4 @@ # Set jvm heap initial and maximum sizes (in megabytes). If it is provided by upstream, maybe passing this bug to upstream would be the suitable way forward * The proposed solution does not seem to have a negative impact on any DE other than KDE (tested on Gnome 3 and Cinnamon) * The proposed solution also makes it obsolete to alter the view.antiAlias option in Jedit's property file |
