DetailsDescription:
I noticed that the directory /usr/share/alienarea is some 1.2Gb in size. This fills up my /usr partition. There is usually more room available on the /var partition... Would it be possible to move the game data to /var/lib/alienarena? I have now moved the directory there and placed a sym link on the original spot. Feels like a work-around... Additional info: * alienarena 7.66 |

Reason for closing: Won't fix
Additional comments about closing: All our game stuff is in /usr/share and besides it doesn't really matter where it is. I'm certainly not going to move it for one user for one game.

Upstream installs it to /usr/share, I don't see why Arch should move it.
(I'm joking, but I don't expect packagers to take decision based on users' partitions size)
