Description:
bochs is oftenly used for debugging kernels/modules (I really think this is it's main usecase), so it should make sense for it to ship with debuggers and more features by default. Good set of configure flags for it could be seen at https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/bochs-with-debugger/

Additional info:
* package version(s)
bochs 2.6.2-1

Npw bochs-2.6.5-1 enables many features. However the --enable-debugger flag prevents the build from completing.

bochs-2.6.6 builds with debugger in my system.

the attached PKGBUILD seems to build boost 2.6.6 with support for the internal debugger for me(it's mostly or completely the one from the repo)

It looks like the pkgbuild is missing a makedep. It builds okay locally but fails on "ar: creating libcpu.a" when built in a clean chroot.

umn, could you post the whole log when it fails?

Okay, got it working. (The multi-threaded build had me looking at the wrong part.) Gtk2 and libxpm were the missing dependencies. How does bochs-2.6.6-2 look to you?

Fixed for a month and no complaints, closing.
