Description:
Sometimes a character is rendered incorrectly. I've seen this in firefox but I'm not sure it doesn't occour in other software.
Any action that causes a minor redraw fixes the rendering, *including* taking a snapshot (that's why I attach a cropped photo of the screen taken with my cellphone).
It is quite some time that the bug is present, and it survived many upgrade: I perform pacman -Syu daily, and it upgraded firefox, kernel, X....

Additional info:
I'm using firefox 25, kde 4.11.3, xorg-server 1.14.4-1, freetype2 2.5.0.1-2; if you need more information, I can provide as needed.
I'm attaching the snapshot taken with my cell and the result of pressing "print screen" (which is correct, as I've stated).

We had updates to freetype2 2.5.2-1 and fontconfig 2.11.0-1. Is this issue solved? Can you check if downgrading one of these
packages to an earlier version solves it?

This is most likely a graphics driver issue.
