Details

Description: kdebase is suppose to be minimal. When installing Arch/KDE with kdebase group it is not preferable to install an 86 MB wallpapers package. Both Fedora and Kubuntu comes with single wallpaper.

We do not patch upstream stuff.
It's not a dependency, free to ignore it.

If I don't want to download kde-wallpapers then I have to install kdebase group packages individually and when booting to a new system neither kdm not plasma desktop have any wallpaper. I am greeted to a black screen. In fact I am booted to a different kdm theme.

I understand not patching upstream stuff. Please close the bug if you think there is nothing to do here.
