DetailsDescription:
After kernel update, when I try to shutdown my computer, it get stuck on kernel RIP messages, and when i try to suspend, it only block and goes to lock screen. I did some research and saw some people with the same error, saying that probably was because the kernel could not turn off some device. In my case I think it is the wireless card. In aditional after the same kernel update my discrete video card(optimus nvidia) isn't recognized anymore too. Additional info: * package version(s) linux 3.12.2-1-ARCH lspci -v for wireless card: Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM43224 802.11a/b/g/n (rev 01) Subsystem: Dell Wireless 1520 Half-size Mini PCIe Card Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 0, IRQ 17 Memory at fb300000 (64-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=16K] Capabilities: [40] Power Management version 3 Capabilities: [58] Vendor Specific Information: Len=78 <?> Capabilities: [48] MSI: Enable- Count=1/1 Maskable- 64bit+ Capabilities: [d0] Express Endpoint, MSI 00 Capabilities: [100] Advanced Error Reporting Capabilities: [13c] Virtual Channel Capabilities: [160] Device Serial Number (sensured) Capabilities: [16c] Power Budgeting <?> Kernel driver in use: bcma-pci-bridge Kernel modules: bcma * config and/or log files etc. On attachment my full kernel log mesage. I think the error mesages is on the last 100 lines. Steps to reproduce: On any way possible to shutdown(dbus send, shutdown, systemctl, halt) When I try to suspend the system(some times the kernel chashes and some times only get lock screen) p.s.: Just when I was writing this post, my kernel crashed and I had to shutdown manually when i tryied to suspend to get the kernel mesages. |
