DetailsThe tomcat6.service file directs stdout to /var/log/tomcat6/catalina.out which eventually fills up the whole hard drive.
If this is changed to the (undocumented?) magic value SYSLOG then the output gets sent to the journal where it can be handled correctly. The same appies to stderr, and probably also to tomcat7. |
