Hello,
I got a kernel panic twice today, soon after running bittorent with IPv6 enabled. My machine is a desktop PC, using an Ethernet controller. Stacktrace is the same as here http://marc.info/?l=linux-netdev&m=138355719901790&w=4. After disabling IPv6 with echo 1 |sudo tee /proc/sys/net/ipv6/conf/all/disable_ipv6, I didn't get any more kernel panic. I added upstream patch 84502b5ef9849a9694673b15c31bd3ac693010ae [1] to the archlinux PKGBUILD, recompiled my kernel, and did not get any kernel panic after rebooting. This patch is contained in v3.13-rc1 upstream, but not (yet?) in any stable kernel, nor in stable-queue [2]. Could it be added to the official archlinux PKGBUILD ? This task depends upon
Package: linux
Package version: 3.12.1-3
Category: Packages: Core
Architecture: all
Severity: critical (system crash)
It has, however, been added to stable-queue, so it should be part of 3.12.4.
