DetailsDescription:
Flightgear needs flightgear data v2.12.1 to run while the flightgear-data package in the repository is still at version 2.12.0-1. As there is no dependency declared between the flightgear and flightgear-data packages, pacman doesn't catch this. Changing the version string in FG_ROOT/data/version makes fgfs v2.12.1-1 start with flightgear-data 2.12.0-1 but I have no idea whether there were further bugfix changes in FG_ROOT/data/ . Steps to reproduce: Run: $ fgfs Base package check failed: Version 2.12.0 found at: /usr/share/flightgear/data Version 2.12.1 is required. Please upgrade/downgrade base package and set the path to your fgdata with --fg-root=path_to_your_fgdata $ |
