Details

Description:

Starting cairo-dock resulted in a freeze after the error:

warning : (/build/cairo-dock/src/cairo-dock-3.3.2/src/gldit/cairo-dock-module-manager.c:gldi_module_new_from_so_file:160)
while opening module '/usr/lib/cairo-dock/libcd-mail.so' : (libetpan.so.16: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory)

Installing package, libetpan solved the problem.

Additional info:
* cairo-dock 3.3.2-1, cairo-dock-plugins 3.3.2-1
* libetpan 1.1-4

Steps to reproduce:

Install cairo-dock, start cairo dock, observe behavior above. May be related to https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=171963

Note: I wasn't able to change Category to Packages: Community. Is there a different bug tracker for those?

libetpan is only needed when using the mail applet, and is already in optdepends for cairo-dock-plugins, pacman clearly states which libs you need to install for each applet you plan on using. And no, I won't make these deps regular deps, this has already been asked before.

As for the category, it shows right below your username in which category you are. Packages: Testing is in fact community-testing, and so on.
