Steps to reproduce: This is what happens when you run Banshee from the terminal and when trying to run it normally, nothing happens!

The only thing that I can think of was, before I ran some updates, Mplayer would not work (I am sure that this has got nothing to do with it) When I installed mplayer it told me that there was a conflict with mplayer2 and that I should remove it. So I duly did this and then mplayer worked fine. I then tried to open Banshee and nothing happened, then tried to run it from the terminal and produced the errors that I posted above! I have subsequently reinstalled Banshee and voilà everything is working again! So sorry if I have inconvenienced anyone but thanks all the same to anyone who has looked at this! I presume that this can be closed and marked as solved?

I have requested that this is opened again as there is obviously something wrong as I am getting more or less the same error again after some update or another, I have tried to the best of my ability to see if I can fix this and cannot!
