DetailsDescription:
libpcap as currently built doesn't support capture using a Bluetooth adapter (one can verify using `dumpcap -D` from Wireshark). It appears that libpcap's configure script is looking for the include file <bluetooth/bluetooth.h>, which is in the bluez-libs package. After installing bluez-libs and rebuilding and installing libpcap, Wireshark can now capture using a Bluetooth adapter without problems. libpcap doesn't even require bluez-libs to remain installed anymore, so it can be just a makedepends. Additional info: * package version(s) libpcap 1.4.0-1 bluez-libs 5.10-3 * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: |
This task depends upon
optdepends=('bluez: for capturing from Bluetooth adapters')
woud be nice, too :-)
