DetailsI started playing with ifplugd today; however, I noticed that it overwrote my ntp.conf file eventhough /etc/conf.d/dhcpdcd has -N in the arguement list. I looked at /etc/ifplugd/ifplugd.action, which is like /etc/rc.d/network for ifplugd, and ifup/ifdown functions look like they were copied from the network script at least 8 months ago. This could probably be fixed if the functions for the network script where put in a separate sourceable file and if someone, who thoughly understood the network script, helped rewrite ifplugd.action.
Thanks, Andrew Simmons |
